The Freshers’ Meet for Std XI was held on 9 June 2025, attended by parents of Standard XI students. The program began with a prayer song by the school choir, followed by a prayer led by the Principal. The Compartment Head of the Higher Secondary Department addressed the gathering, explaining school rules and regulations and providing important information regarding academics and discipline policies.

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025–26 was held on July 4 at the Daniel Thomas Campus, Koyambedu. Students from KG, Lower Primary, Upper Primary, Middle School, High School, and Higher Secondary participated with great enthusiasm and pride.
The ceremony was graced by the distinguished chief guests:
• Mr. P. Balachandran, Station Officer – Fire and Rescue Station, Koyambedu
• Mr. V. Stephen Kumar, Station Officer – Transport Fire and Rescue Station, Koyambedu
They conferred leadership badges to the newly elected student leaders across all departments, inspiring them to take up their responsibilities with sincerity, dedication, and discipline.
Mr. J.D. Sapphire, Chairman and Correspondent of Daniel Thomas Group of Schools, addressed the gathering and highlighted the true essence of leadership, service, and integrity. His motivational message encouraged students to lead by example and uphold the core values of the institution.
The ceremony marked a memorable and significant start to the academic year as young leaders stepped forward with pride and purpose to serve their school community.

The Independence Day celebration at Daniel Thomas Campus, Koyambedu, was held on 15 August 2025 with great patriotic fervor. The Correspondent hoisted the National Flag in the presence of the staff and students, marking a proud and solemn moment. The celebration featured a variety of student performances, including a skit, mime, and patriotic songs that beautifully highlighted the spirit of freedom and unity. The program concluded with an inspiring message from the Correspondent, who appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged everyone to uphold the values of patriotism, integrity, and national harmony.

The Annual Prize Day Celebration for the academic year 2025–26 was held on 22 August 2025 at the Daniel Thomas, Koyambedu. The event brought together management members, teachers, parents, and students to honour academic excellence and celebrate the achievements of the school community.

The Kiddies Sports Meet was held on 4 September 2025 with vibrant participation from KG and Lower Primary students, along with parents and teachers. The event was filled with excitement, energy, and joyful moments as young learners took part in a range of fun sporting activities.

The Daniel Thomas Campus, Koyambedu, celebrated Founder’s Day 2025 with great enthusiasm and participation across all classes. The celebrations included class-wise competitions and a special assembly, aimed at fostering talent, creativity, and appreciation for the school’s legacy.
Students from LKG to Std X enthusiastically participated in the competitions conducted as part of the celebrations.
A special assembly was conducted for students of Std II to V, where the Correspondent, Mr. J.D. Sapphire, distributed prizes to the winners. The assembly celebrated the achievements of students and reinforced the values and vision of the school’s founder.
The Founder’s Day celebrations were a vibrant and memorable occasion, highlighting the talents of students across all grades and promoting creativity, learning, and school spirit.

The Tech Spark – Basic Computer Competition was conducted from 5th to 7th November 2025 at the Junior and Senior Computer Labs, engaging students from Classes VI to XII in a series of creative and skill-based challenges. The competition was organised by the school’s IT Team to encourage innovation, technical proficiency, and digital creativity among students.
It was a three-day event
• 5 November 2025 (Wednesday): Coding & Animation
- Coding: Designed to strengthen logical thinking and programming skills.
- Animation: Conducted to develop creativity, sequencing, and digital skills.
• 6 November 2025 (Thursday): MS Office
- MS Office: Aimed at enhancing productivity skills through effective use of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• 7 November 2025 (Friday): MS Paint
- MS Paint: Organised to improve digital drawing skills and visual creativity.
Students enthusiastically participated and the competition provided an excellent platform for them to explore and enhance their computer skills while fostering creativity and innovation.

Daniel Thomas School, Koyambedu, celebrated Charity Day and Children’s Day together on 14 November 2025, creating a meaningful and joyful experience for students from LKG to Std X, along with their parents and teachers. The occasion emphasized compassion, empathy, and social responsibility, encouraging students to extend a helping hand to those in need.
During the event, students actively participated by contributing essential items and gifts for charitable purposes, showcasing their understanding of giving and community service. Parents were invited to witness the students’ generosity and were inspired by the enthusiasm and commitment of the young learners.
The celebration also included special activities and fun-filled sessions for the children, honoring their achievements, talents, and the joy of childhood. Through this combined observance, students not only celebrated the spirit of giving but also enjoyed the essence of Children’s Day, fostering values of kindness, empathy, and social awareness from an early age.

The Nritya Kazhaimagal ’25 Bharathanatyam Competition was held on 5 August 2025, with enthusiastic participation from students of the Upper Primary and Middle School classes. The event showcased the rich cultural talent of our students, who secured the first three places awarded by the Lion’s Club. The competition was judged by esteemed Bharathanatyam experts Kalaimani S. Vijayalakshmi Bhoopathi and Smt. Shanthi Ranjithkumar, whose presence added grace and prestige to the occasion.
